The Muhu Tõnise Talu is a farmhouse located in the historical village of Paenase on the beautiful Muhu island. Tõnise Talu is a more than a 200-year-old dignified farmstead, with its own soul and story. Tõnise Talu is a home for the host family and a lovely place to visit for the guests - a wonderful spot for a wonderful holiday.

The authentic Muhu barn-houses and the former horse farm with their thatched roofs are awaiting You as their guest. With beds for up to 30 people, two cozy wood-fired saunas, a farmhouse with a large dining hall, a beautiful yard, an area for barbequing, an outdoor terrace, 15 sheep, and plenty more make it a wonderful place for a wonderful stay.

The hostess is an experienced hobby chef who will serve all guests a generous breakfast and if desired, a homemade dinner. In addition, delicious snack platters to go with wine or for a sauna evening can be ordered. We prefer local ingredients and use our own greens and herbs.
There are many places in our beautiful yard to spend a pleasant time. There is a small barbecue area on the edge of the courtyard, where you can prepare lunch or dinner yourself. In front of the main house, there is a beautiful terrace area with tables and chairs where you can sip wine or spend time friends.
There are 4 shared bathrooms in our main house and a dry toilet outside.
An integral part of our farm is our flock of sheep, who welcome guests with joy. This is how you experience real rural life, with animals and nature!

The pearl of Muhu Tõnise Talu is the former horse stable in the main building, which is now the main hall and lounge area where a crackling fireplace creates an atmosphere for dining and spending the evening. There is also a bar with a wide selection of refreshments, beverages and spirits. We also serve guests breakfast and dinner here.
The hall can comfortably seat up to 40 people, which makes it a good place for events and gatherings.

Barn-house sauna
The barn-house sauna is a small, but good, wood-heated sauna, which, as the name suggests, is located in one of the 100-year-old barnhouses. The sauna can accommodate 2-3 people at a time. The sauna has a steam room, a shower and a small waiting room.
A visit to the sauna must be booked in advance so that we can heat the sauna up for you.

The main sauna is located in our main house, with an entrance directly from the yard.
It is nice to go to the main sauna with a slightly larger group. This sauna can accommodate 5-6 people. In the sauna you will find a wood-heated steam room, a shower corner with two showers, a toilet and a small room where you can relax before and after the sauna and spend a fun evening with friends.
A visit to the sauna must be booked in advance so that we can heat the sauna up for you.
